直口，短颈，丰肩，鼓腹至底足处渐收，圈足，附平顶圆盖。该器通体施釉，外壁以斗彩装饰，肩部绘绿彩八吉祥纹及一周如意云头纹，腹部以黄彩、绿彩、红彩、紫彩等釉上彩装饰云龙纹，近底处绘一周变形莲瓣纹。此罐器型雍容规整，釉质肥腴温润，釉彩青翠雅致，龙纹威严雄奇。器底中心处有青花书“大清乾隆年制”六字三行篆书款。
The jar is potted with a straight mouth, a short neck, full shoulders and a globular body tapering gradually towards the foot. It stands on a ring foot and is fitted with a flat-topped circular cover. The vessel is glazed overall and decorated on the exterior in the doucai technique. The shoulder is painted with the Eight Buddhist Emblems in green enamel, together with a band of ruyi-cloud heads. The body is decorated with cloud-and-dragon motifs in overglaze enamels of yellow, green, red and purple, while the area near the base is encircled by a band of stylised lotus petals.
