口微外撇，颈作八瓣瓜棱式，溜肩，圆腹，高圈足，足墙中部有一道凸起，底部有青花“大清乾隆年制”六字篆书款。

通体施釉，外壁以青花装饰，颈部饰折枝花卉纹，腹部则将海水、山石、桃树与群蝠组成所谓“寿山福海”的主题纹样，足部则上下分饰如意云头纹及折枝宝相花纹。该器造型线条优美，釉面光洁滋润，青花发色艳丽，纹样设计则更显精巧雅致，独具匠心。此外，还见有与该器纹样、造型一致的斗彩器。

The vessel has a slightly everted mouth, an eight-lobed melon-form neck, sloping shoulders, a rounded body and a high ring foot, with a raised ridge around the middle of the foot wall. The base is inscribed in underglaze blue with the six-character seal-script mark: “Da Qing Qianlong nian zhi” — “Made in the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing dynasty.”

The vessel is glazed overall and decorated on the exterior in underglaze blue. The neck is painted with sprays of flowering branches, while the body is decorated with a design combining waves, rocks, peach trees and numerous bats, forming the auspicious theme known as “Mountains of Longevity and Seas of Blessings” (shoushan fuhai). The foot is decorated with bands of ruyi-cloud heads and sprays of baoxiang flowers.

The form is graceful in line, the glaze smooth and lustrous, and the cobalt blue bright and vivid. The decorative scheme is particularly refined and elegant, showing an inventive and sophisticated conception. Examples of the same form and design are also known in the doucai palette.
