敞口，浅弧腹，圈足。整器呈菊瓣式，盘心以粉彩绘制牡丹、玉兰、山茶花等花卉纹样，色彩浓淡层次丰富，花朵娇艳饱满，枝叶舒展自然，采用“没骨法”技法，具有工笔重彩的绘画效果，寓意“富贵吉祥”。底部以青花书“大清雍正年制”六字双圈双行楷书款。

这种器型早在宋代南北各地瓷窑已经广泛使用，有葵瓣、菊瓣、莲瓣诸式。雍正时期瓷器造型丰富，用多种花形装饰瓷器。菊花造型的器物有：菊瓣瓶、菊瓣壶、菊瓣盘、菊瓣碗、菊瓣盒、菊瓣尊等。

The dish is potted with a flared mouth, shallow rounded sides and a ring foot. The entire vessel is formed in the shape of chrysanthemum petals. The centre is painted in famille rose enamels with peony, magnolia, camellia and other floral motifs. The colours are richly modulated, with subtle variations in tone; the blossoms are delicate and full, while the branches and leaves extend naturally. Executed in the mogu, or “boneless”, technique, the decoration achieves the effect of meticulous, richly coloured painting and conveys the auspicious meaning of “wealth, honour and good fortune.” The base is inscribed in underglaze blue, within double circles, with the six-character mark in two vertical lines in regular script: “Da Qing Yongzheng nian zhi” — “Made in the Yongzheng reign of the Great Qing dynasty.”

This type of form was already widely used at both northern and southern kilns during the Song dynasty, with variations including mallow-petal, chrysanthemum-petal and lotus-petal forms. Yongzheng-period porcelain is noted for its great variety of shapes, and floral forms were frequently used in vessel design. Chrysanthemum-form wares include chrysanthemum-petal vases, ewers, dishes, bowls, boxes and zun-shaped vessels.
