瓶小口，短颈，丰肩，弧腹渐收，圈足。该器通体以青花装饰，胎体坚致，釉色莹润细腻。器身绘岁寒三友图，所绘洞石玲珑，青松遒劲，翠竹挺拔，呈色翠丽，装饰优雅大气，造型秀丽。

梅瓶盛烧于南宋和金代南北窑场，短颈小口，形体修长，颇似栏杆。大都用来插花，但许多较早时期的梅瓶都带有一个截头圆锥体形状的盖，这说明梅瓶原是装盛液体的容器，而后来其主要用途则是作为装饰品和陈设用器。

The vase has a small mouth, a short neck, full shoulders, a rounded body tapering gradually towards the lower section, and a ring foot. It is decorated throughout in underglaze blue. The body is firm and well potted, and the glaze is lustrous and finely textured. The exterior is painted with a design of the Three Friends of Winter: pierced garden rocks, vigorous pine and upright bamboo, all rendered in a fresh, elegant blue. The decoration is refined and imposing, and the form is graceful and well balanced.

Meiping vases were widely produced at both northern and southern kilns during the Southern Song and Jin periods. Characterised by a small mouth, short neck and slender body, the form was often used for displaying flowering branches. However, many earlier meiping were made with a truncated conical cover, indicating that the form originally served as a container for liquids. Over time, its primary function shifted towards display and decorative use.
