罐直口短颈，唇口稍厚，溜肩圆腹，肩部两侧有立体装饰，至腹部下渐收微撇，底部宽圈足，露胎。此罐纹饰共分为六层，以凤纹和牡丹纹为主，采用了勾线和抹料等多种工艺，展示了元代青花瓷的高超绘画技艺。
The jar is potted with a straight mouth, a short neck and a slightly thickened rim, above rounded sloping shoulders and a bulbous body. Applied decoration is set on either side of the shoulder. The body tapers towards the lower section and flares slightly above a broad ring foot, the base left unglazed.
The decoration is arranged in six registers, primarily featuring phoenix and peony motifs. The design is executed in a range of techniques, including fine outline drawing and washes of cobalt blue, demonstrating the accomplished painting skills characteristic of Yuan-dynasty blue-and-white porcelain.
